New In: Lingerie

Buying pretty underwear has always been a weakness of mine. So when I saw this red lace number from ASOS I fell in love. I love the sheer lace and mesh and intricate detailing along with the double straps and open back, it really is a gorgeous piece and perfect to ask for from your other half or as a new purchase for yourself. I follow so many lingerie brands on Instagram that sell the most beautiful bralets so when I saw this black lace version in New Look at a fraction of the price I quickly snapped it up. It looks super pretty layered under an oversized white tee and ripped boyfriend jeans. The pink and black lace one underneath is a recent buy from H&M's underwear range, I love the balconette style and a longer/wider band for more support. Check out more of their pieces online here. One of my absolute all-time favourites is the Calvin Klein bralet/crop top, I have it in both black and grey and they are the comfiest underwear I own.

Laidback vibes

 So I've finally found the time to get a post up! I'm currently writing this from the comfort of my bed nursing a sore head and feeling slightly sorry for myself. I moved into university on Friday and already had such an amazing week, meeting so many new people, definitely loving Freshers so far. Content on here won't be updated as much as before so bare with me at the moment!

 

Onto the outfit...I decided I needed to buy some new ripped jeans and these ones are from Topshop. They're such a perfect fit and colour! I also needed some new boots for autumn/winter so I went for these ones from New Look, I love the slight heel on them but definitely gonna have to wear them in!

I'm having a pretty lazy day today, doing a bit of online shopping and making my birthday wishlist! I've also been saving for a new laptop and need to buy one this week or next, I think I've seen one that I like but if any of you have any recommendations then let me know!

I was sent this gorgeous white lace/crochet bralet from Celeb Look, I'd never heard of them until they emailed me but they have some really nice pieces at such affordable prices! This was only £12.87! You can get it in a few different colours too like black or pink. I love how it's not too cropped aswell, perfect for pairing with a high-waisted leather skirt or something! I opted for my ripped jeans this time for comfort and a leather jacket. I'm also debuting these gorgeous new boots that I bought a few weeks ago from Schuh, they're similar to ones that Topshop and River Island have been doing but at a much cheaper price in the sale!

Truth amour paris

Yet another monochrome piece that I've made space for in my wardrobe... It's super comfy to wear, just throw a pair of Converse on and you're good to go! I've accessorised with this H&M neon orange chain necklace which is perfect for pairing with anything black or white to inject a bit of colour. The dress is actually pretty versatile for a/w aswell, I can see it looking cool styled up with a leather jacket or a duster coat with tights and boots. I'm so ready for a/w fashion now, there's just something about layering up in big oversized jumpers and coats that I love! Anyone else feel the same?!

Casual denim checks

This checked shirt is still high up there on my list of favourite items of clothing that I own! I bought it from Depop super cheap and I've got so much wear out of it. It's great for throwing on when you're feeling kinda lazy with ripped jeans, definitely one of my go-to outfits! Here, I've paired it with my denim shorts from Zara's sale and my pointed red flats, a really casual and simple outfit. I don't think I've featured this silver feather necklace on my blog yet, I bought it quite a while ago now from Delilah Dust and I love it!

Today I'm going shopping for university essentials ready for moving in September. It's getting pretty real now and only a few weeks left now until I go to uni eek! I was thinking of doing a post on everything that I've bought so let me know if that's something you want to see. Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!

Quiz Jumpsuit

I've definitely been a fan of Quiz clothing at the moment if you can't already tell! I was sent this jumpsuit a while ago now, it doesn't actually fit me properly as I think I chose the wrong size which is such a shame. It's such a lovely piece, I especially love the aqua colour at the top. It also comes with this beautiful necklace attached so you don't need to worry about buying accessories either, however you can take it off if you prefer! At only £24.99 it's such a lovely affordable piece to go out in and you can get it in coral or cream aswell!

Nautical dungarees

These dungarees were sent by Quiz and they're super comfy and such a great alternative to wearing just denim shorts all the time. I love the acid wash denim, makes them that little bit cooler! They're only £25 aswell if you're looking for some affordable dungarees! Paired with some classic stripes, I think it's perfect for keeping cool with the weather at the moment. These white heels add a bit of glamour, they are super high so if you're the daring type then these are definitely for you!

Lamb 1887

If you haven't heard of Lamb 1887 then you should definitely click over and have a browse of their website, "Beautiful bags for beautiful women" is their philosophy and you'll see why once you've seen their bags, definitely beautiful in my opinion! All of their bags are made with soft leather and on-trend designs and colours, including croc and snake prints combined with vibrant colours. My personal favourites are the bright colour pop clutches, perfect for summer!

Creator, Charlotte Lamb, was inspired to create the brand when struggling to find affordable yet stylish handbags. Charlotte says ‘I spent years working in the city looking for the perfect practical, super luxury, on-trend handbag that didn't break the bank but to no avail. I decided to make my own and Lamb 1887 was born’.

Summer stripes

I can't get enough of this striped bardot top at the moment, it's so easy to tuck into a pair of high-waisted jeans, skirts, shorts, anything really! River Island do loads more in different colours and patterns aswell. This one is actually sold out online but I've linked one above which is similar! My sandals are from New Look last year so they're probably not in stock anymore but they're the perfect sandals with a slight chunky heel and zip at the back. I've done a bit of sale shopping and ordered some bits from River Island and ASOS so I'm pretty excited for those to arrive! Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday!

Monochrome denim

Introducing my new favourite bag. I believe it was around the £60/70 mark in Zara but I bought it at a fraction of the price from a seller on depop for £12. Along with the price tag my favourite thing about it is also the detailing on the front of the bag, I just love the design of it and it's actually a lot more spacious inside than I thought it would be. On the subject of Zara the shorts are from the sale and are such a perfect fit. Sometimes it's hard to find denim shorts that cover your dignity but these ones tick all the boxes! If you follow me on Twitter you might remember that I was trying to decide whether to bite the bullet and purchase some New Balance but I got scared and couldn't justify spending that much money at the moment, so these monochrome Primark trainers will have to do for now, definitely not a patch on New Balance but for £6 I can't really complain! The longline blazer is from New Look and I love it so much, I've been wanting to get myself one for a while. It's pretty easy to transition into A/W aswell by layering!

Classic black midi

I recently bought this dress from work the other day, it's my favourite thing to wear when it's warm but not hot enough for shorts & a tee. Being pretty small, it's always nice when you find a midi dress that's a good length and doesn't come down to your ankles! The sandals are from good old Primark and are such a lovely coral colour, perfect addition to an all black outfit. I've done some damage to my bank account this month and purchased some new items that I'm sure you'll all be seeing in the next few posts this week!

Simple styling

I bought this dungaree jumpsuit last year and since then it's just been sitting in my wardrobe so I thought I'd rekindle my love for it and style it up with a simple white tee. They're both such simple pieces but work together so well, I wore my red pointed flats that I just can't get enough of lately and together with my fedora hat and red lipstick I think it finished the look off nicely! There's something about a pop of red in a monochrome outfit that I really like. I went on a pretty big shopping spree the other day and bought a few purchases online aswell so I'm sure you'll be seeing more of them soon!

Summer Co-ords

Co-ords have been one of the biggest trends of the season and it's not hard to tell why. They require minimal effort, come in so many beautiful summer prints and you can find them in a range of different styles. Once you've found the right one for you, all you've gotta do is accessorise and you're good to go! They're also perfect for transitioning from day-to-night - pair with some cute sandals in the day or choose to opt for some heels in the evenings. Summer florals

These shorts have just the prettiest floral print on them for summer, I bought them from Missguided over a month ago and have only just got round to styling them up. They're a chiffon kinda material which makes them perfect for wearing in the heat! My bomber jacket is also Missguided and is part quilted which I love, it would also look amazing with an all monochrome outfit and a bold lip or something!
