leather jacket: dorothy perkins, dress & necklace: topshop, boots: garage shoes

I bought this dress a couple of weeks ago when I was down in London, it's from Topshop and I think it's fair to say that it's the perfect go-to everyday dress. It's perfect for accessorising with and is just the right amount of casual! For reference, it's from the Petite section because I'm so small! Paired with my new studded ankle boots that I received for Christmas from Garage Shoes, this outfit is my favourite for throwing on when I don't know what else to wear. I realised that I lacked simple items in my wardrobe and so was on the hunt for classic versatile pieces that I would get lots of wear out of so I think this grey speckled dress is just right!

I also bought this gold chain necklace from Topshop Oxford St aswell. Together with the dress I thought it finished the outfit off and I really like the simplicity of the dress accessorised with the necklace. In love with my new boots aswell, they're so comfy and they haven't been off my feet since I got them!

I haven't done a lot today except catching up on blogs and reading books on my new tablet. I've just recently finished one of John Green's books, Looking for Alaska and I'm now halfway through The Fault in our Stars which I'm enjoying. I've also managed to finish off the remains of my chocolate selection box throughout the day...
